The construction of three million new homes by the My House My Life program is an opportunity to boost sales in the furniture <\/a>sector. This is a statement made by the president of Sindm\u00f3veis<\/a> Bento Gon\u00e7alves, Henrique Tecchio, who believes that the industry can benefit from the increasing number of people with access to the My Better House card.<\/p>\n

All families that have purchased their housing through the federal government program and have all installments duly paid may apply for a R$ 5,000 loan to buy furniture and household appliances. The products offered include beds, wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, tables and chairs, bookcases, racks and sofas. \u201cIf the furniture segment aimed at classes C and D is able to take advantage of this opportunity, it will be especially favored by the greater amount of popular housing,\u201d said Tecchio.<\/p>\n

Bento Gon\u00e7alves is home to the largest furniture center in Brazil, with 300 manufacturing companies and nine thousand direct jobs.
