One of the missions of the Furniture Industry Association of Bento Gonçalves (Sindmóveis) is to qualify the furniture sector. Bearing this mind, the president of the association, Cátia Scarton, met with the regional manager of Sebrae in Serra Gaúcha, Rogério Rodrigues, to study ways to prepare small furniture companies for business. Sebrae offers several types of collective or individual consultancy services. Through different programs, it assesses the demand of the participating companies, assigning consultants to attend their needs. Currently, small businesses account for 92.59% of the member companies of Sindmóveis.
